PAEDOPHILIA, PAEDOPHILES & ESTABLISHMENT COVER UPS

I would like to examine what we know as paedophilia. It is a very misunderstood and misused word. Its literal translated meaning is "love of boy or child". The love of someone who is pre-pubescent; a child from newborn up to the point of puberty. Jimmy Savile was not one of these as far as we know so far.

There are three more terms which are generally confused with paedophilia or paedophiles. They are:-

•  Hebephilia is related to the attraction to pubescent 11 to 14 year old children
•  Ephebophilia is related to adolescent children
•  Paraphilia is related to inappropriate attraction to form relationships that are deemed      unlikely to succeed because of wide age differences

Taking the above into account it may cast recent coverage regarding child abuse in a different light. It is no less serious and should not be used to detract from what has occurred. It is one form of violence that scars a person for life. It is a violation of trust and security that degrades an individual's feelings and personality.

The main question that many are asking though is how all the abuse occurred and remain unchecked. To understand one has to understand the minds and behaviour of those that committed such dreadful crimes. I cannot explain why there are paedophiles nor am I going to try.

Paedophilia is one of the most serious mental illnesses and someone that commits crimes associated with it are generally treated more harshly than murderers and psychopaths. Yet it is a common condition and a regularly committed crime.

The problem is nobody really knows how common such crimes are. Maybe there is a fear that should it be known it may detract from the seriousness of paedophilia. There is certainly a desire by those that commit these crimes to cover them up.

Probably the most common sexual crimes against the young occurs in their homes. The father or uncle that abuses the children that they have ready access too. Usually it is a litany of assault that goes on for years. It can also happen to one sibling but not the other. Great deviousness, mental torture, emotional blackmail and threats are often used to cover up the abuse. The mental and physical damage caused can be horrendous destroying a young person for the rest of their lives. Not only is this paedophilia it is incest, also a criminal offence. Incest is different in that it can be between willing partners. Some forms of incest are probably far more common than is generally spoken about for obvious reasons.

There are paedophiles that prey on children that are unknown to them. In reality this is one of the least common crimes associated with paedophilia but also one of the most dangerous. Contrary to popular belief it is rare and the rate of offences has been steadily falling since the 1940s.

Yet the population is rising and it is unlikely the percentage of paedophiles is falling. There has not been a cure discovered, so what has happened?

This is the aspect which I wish to discuss.

The very nature of the criminal aspects of paedophilia makes paedophiles very careful, yet they need to satisfy their urges. So what do they do? Paedophiles will attempt to gain access to children where they will not be suspected. The obvious places are schools but, especially these days, they are dangerous places for paedophiles to operate; but there are ways.

Paedophiles favour the places where there are vulnerable children that do not have the same protection as those within families. So care homes are favoured places because they house often disturbed and friendless children.

Some callings and professions are also very suitable environments for paedophiles like churches. Priests, until recently, were regarded as pillars of the establishment. Some paedophiles may very well have originally been abused by priests and understood the advantages that the priesthood offered to satisfy their cravings.

The best and most comfortable place a paedophile can find themselves in in the company of other like minded people. There is safety in numbers and because of this they become far more prolific, dangerous and active. In nature all groups organise themselves, so it is with paedophiles. Paedophilia occurs across the whole of society, but the more intelligent or socially connected will find and ruthlessly organise themselves. They will eschew those that pose a risk to the group. These days there is no room for mistakes.

The most common of these groups are contained within a single family that only prey on other family members. Often it can be a regime of abuse that has travelled down through the generations.

Socially grouped paedophiles can also have been abusing children for generations. The overall shape of the group will  have changed little unlike its members.

The more socially connected groups will also have formed protections both within and outside the group or what is generally termed as "ring". This is what I wish to explore. But I would like to suggest that child abuse circles vary in the type of targets they like to violate.

The main strength of the majority of paedophiles is that people do not believe children who appear to behave over dramatically or complain about something that goes against  perceived normality. This happens in supposedly happy homes. For children abused within the care system there is little they can do especially if they suspect that their abusers have them surrounded. Many of these children ended up in the care system because they were abused at home. It is the ultimate treachery that these children have to endure.

The more widely organised paedophile rings protect themselves by being in positions of authority within the local government system. Members look to ensure that similarly minded friends rise in position and power with local government, education, police and the judiciary. It is suggested that some members of the Masons may be involved. What the Freemasons could certainly offer a paedophile member is the connections of protection. 

As politics is closely linked to the favoured professions that offer the best hunting grounds it is safe to state that there will be paedophiles within local and national politics. They will also exist in the Permanent State. The very nature of politics with its networks, alliances and connections makes it fertile ground for all wrongdoers including the sexually deviant. Bribery and blackmail are commonplace. Morality is loose at the very least; goodness and honesty almost non-existent.

There is no other place where morals are looser than the entertainment industry which is also a rich area for child abusers. Young, usually female, fans almost throw themselves at the stars. It is fair to state that many young pop stars, intoxicated by their success, did act and behave unwisely and illegally in many cases. But there are the people that work with the stars directly or indirectly that are all too aware of the situation and take advantage of it. Here the crime is not really paedophilia but ephebophilia where the actual crime is more commonly known as Statutory Rape if it is not an actual rape. 

The power well known personalities can possess is almost unlimited as Jimmy Savile has proven. Savile appears by many reports to have quite openly and deliberately sought to form rings of abusers by inviting people to his sexual parties. Many say they were repulsed by the idea, yet chose to say nothing until now. What we don't know yet is how many were willingly ensnared into Savile's world of abuse. He certainly had the connections which kept him safe from investigation and prosecution. Savile also used the threat of violence and murder by others to keep people quiet and he probably would have been able to carry out those threats.

Another aspect of larger, well placed paedophile rings is they can draw on the protection of totally innocent people and organisations. The very nature of the crime is to many so heinous and disgusting they don't wish to be in any way associated with it. Regardless of the seriousness of the crimes that may have occurred or the damage inflicted on young people's lives to reveal them to the world would taint everyone, guilty and innocent alike. The higher up within society paedophilia comes to the surface the greater the chance that the Establishment will do everything and anything to cover it up.
